Three years ago we celebrated on the lawn.  

We had given a little.  We were both teachers at the time, so there wasn’t a lot to spare.  But we donated what we could.

We had volunteered as much as we could.  We knocked on doors, stood outside of a grocery stores, and distributed pamphlets into the early hours of election day.  I took election day off, voted early, and knocked on doors all day.

We won.  So we celebrated on the lawn.

It’s time to give our President a second term.  I’d like to return to D.C. in a year.
